sounds like the NRL isn't going to hand down any verdict on Pearce until he returns from rehab and meets with the integrity unit to plead his case.

obviously Pearce needs specialist help but by immediately heading overseas before meeting with the NRL it may end up he misses more time than the club would be campaigning for.
