  • Macca shuts down Sheck

Respected by all the Roosters players in the Kiwi squad and highly rated as a coach by Sheck, Moa and Tauks, nice to see Macca stay on for another 2 seasons...

I'm not surprised Maccas pulled the Sheck meal.

Raw meat is so last millennium.

Macca's Nano technology is what sets him apart.

He has made a mistake going to the Warriors.
I don't think Sheck will ever be as potent as he was this year again in his career. He will end up having a crack at trying to get picked & play for the All Blacks finishing as a Rugby player I think.

The one thing I disliked about SBW was he was allegedly trying to talk Jared and Sheck into playing RU . Seems if true he may have succeeded with Sheck as not long after Sheck started crapping on about wanting to play for the AB's in the future.

RTS was always going to give Union a shot. That is more prestigious to kiwis than anything else. Don't blame Sonny for what's on many children's dream and that is to become an All Black.

Then maybe he should have stayed with RU whilst in NZ, all this chopping and changing shits me.

RTS has peaked. He has made a serious mistake. He will sink without a trace.

I couldn't care less about RTCheque anymore. Sink or swim, he's no longer a Rooster. And after his disastrous finals series it's even easier to forget about him.

Textbook cognitive dissonance. I agree we must move on but I think he's only going to get better. Maybe the coaching staff at nz will reduce his workload mid year to save some petrol for the finals.

                        Sounds a bit condescending.
Even if your'e right, it's just a case of Rooster supporters venting their frustration at losing a player we invested so much in. It.s not like they're trolling the warriors site full of resentment and expecting to be ticked off...
Mind you, plenty of players have peaked at 22.

                        How about a bet?
If RTS improves as a player during his time at the warriors, I'll say how clever you were....
If he doesn't, you quit the amateur psychology.

Haha. Fair call. Look 12 weeks ago we were all signing his praise saying the kid could be anything. As soon as he signed we all said he would flounder at the warriors. I think he's going to lift their team immensely and I think he will only get better.

A lot on here have questioned how he'll go under the warriors structure.
They don't have a good track record when it comes to players improving their all round game, at least on a consistent basis.
There's no doubting Roger's immense talent, but he might find fullback a much different position in that team.
I bet we'll be seeing RTS magic on the high light reels on a regular basis, but that won't tell the whole story.
                            I guess we'll see.

Being a Roosters supporter I hope his career stalls over there, but wish him lots of happiness in his home country with all his money.
He is one small step closer to being an all-black.

The NZ coaching staff seem to reduce everyone's workrate so they peak just in time for the early off-season.
