People forget just how good Mini was back in his prime. I'd have the 02-04 Mini over any fullback since I've been alive.

Wing was also criminally underrated throughout his entire career. He was stuck on the bench as a Mr Fix It at rep and national level all the time, and yet every time when he replaced that hack Buderus suddenly the team would come alive. Should have by rights been our halfback for his entire career with Finch ****ed right off. We'd have won 3 in a row if we'd done that.

I think the spirit of the selections was to pick the eyes out of the 2002 team and today's current team. In 2002 Mini had never played anywhere other than wing for us and Hodges was a significant part of why we made the grand final to start with us. His single-handed dismantling of the Broncos to start our winning run was a case in point. Friend would start at 9 every day of the week for me. He will go down as out best hooker ever in time
