  • Boyd Cordner...

Watched this kid debut at SFS in 2011 off the bench and said to my kids we will be watching him for the next 10 years..

I had no idea just how good he would be..

He is an absolute beast...Attack and defence.

One of best signings of all time and will become one of the best players to ever play for Easts..

    My favourite player.....Boyd Cordner...

        Great post.

        Boyds a mega beast.

I still can't fathom why Daley chose to play him off the bench.

I was calling him be named captain, even at such a young age.

          There's only one Boyd Cordner!

Immense from Cordner. Reynolds got concussed trying to tackle him. (halfway through first half)

The battle between him & Pritchard all night was choice delux

              Power, speed, tenacity

master of the understatement .... after match interview where he described the teams performance as 'PLEASING' lol

That and why he continues to persist with an unproven hopoate on the wing and an overrated hodkinson in the halves.

I think boyd is a shoe in to be the daly m backrower of the year. Has been outstanding in defence and attack and has looked like breaking tackles with every charge he makes.Plus he plays the full 80 most weeks. That being said they'll probably give it to some nuffie like beau scott.

The highlight for me was when he moved into the middle of the defensive line and smashed Josh Jackson, Jackson looked up and was like WTF are you doing here.

Great game, looks very fresh for someone carrying a hip flexor too.

I am happy the award went to a Rooster and not a Warrior.
                          Congratulations to Boyd Cordner.

He started crying in his acceptance speech and almost gave up at one stage. Obviously emotional to win but also shattered about how the season ended (as is Robbo).

I thought Roger was our best by a country mile but was not surprised he didn't get it. . Incidentally, Roger also gave a nice speech about how much he loves the club. But when he said he would always be a rooster I got a little bit of sick in my mouth.

You'd have been well within your rights to stand up and give him a gobful at that point JT. I' m not sure I'd have been able to keep quiet.
