My response to some of our detractors. As usual people are hating and we are evil and cap rorting.

We are losing the best player in the comp (RTS) and Maloney.

RTS is still on a low wage as he was a nobody before he came to the Roosters as was every player except Maloney, Jennings and Ferguson. Every other player was a nobody that you had never heard of.

Under Robbo,s tutelage they have grown an awesome team. Also we are one of the best managed clubs in the comp.

Ask yourself is your club paying overs for some of your underperforming stars? The Roosters will fall back to the pack next year as RTS and Maloney are huge losses.

We do have some under 20's coming through and all of a sudden you will be calling them stars and saying how do the roosters get them under the cap?

Well done Robbo and Roosters management, the last 3 years have been great for us supporters.

He transformed Toops(Scrap heap) Moa (NRL discard/Super League) into rep players and will do the same with SST who is well and truly on his way.

Had the foresight to bring LOD back in 2013.The result speaks for itself.

Countless players in career best form and break out seasons under his current tenure.Helped Jenko screw his head back on. Fergos becoming a man and playing out of his skin.Blooded Hastings last season in a high stakes game and continued to have faith in him.Dividends are now paying off.

Mad Man Matagi(Warriors discard) has most likely doubled his market value and may well earn himself a premiership ring.

Friendy is now a leader and knocking on the representative door.

Don't let them get you down Team Evil. Haters gonna hate.

I was just thinking about it the other day when someone was tell me they could win a comp with coaching our forward pack. We have the best middle third rotation in the game but when you look at the names and think back to where they were in 2012 they've come from nowhere and it's Robbo's pack.

Sam Moa - Playing super league
Dylan Napa - Yet to debut
Kane Evans - Yet to debut
Isaac Liu - Yet to debut
            SST - Yet to debut

The only player Robinson got handed was JWH, that middle third rotation has his finger prints all over it. Plaudits must also go to POS for identifying them but that is Robbo's middle third. He's had to cut/lost Lama Tasi, Mose Masoe, Martin Kennedy, Luke O'donnell, Tinirau Arona & FPN and I don't think anyone can say he's made even one poor mistake on any of those calls.

No doubt we are very lucky to have him as our coach. He comes across as a wise and humble man. His results speak for themselves.

I would love to see Lama Tasi under Robbo's tutelage. I think he'd be an international within 2 years. In saying that he would be struggling to crack this team that's for sure. There is not a middle in the comp that is more skilled and knows their individual roles better than ours. The leg speed before the line of all of them is insane, all of them have footwork, all of them have a short pass before the line, all of them run excellent support lines and all of them defend for grim death. They are the reason we will still be a top 4 side next year in my opinion despite losing the current best player in the comp. Well that and Robbo of course.

I think our salary cap management is second to none.

I think Trent Robinson concentrates on coaching while we have POS handling our roster / retention really well (i'm sure there are others involved)

Coaches being involved in managing salary caps never works, sure they should have a say in regards to players but really that's stretching their job too thinly.

We're building a strong culture and i'm so happy and proud how are team are going - its been such an enjoyable 3 years.

What a shame the great unwashed bogan readership of that website were allowed to sully the story with their ignorant and ungracious comments underneath. I'm so happy I asked Trent to sign my cap in the carpark on ANZAC Day 2013. If I had a poolroom, it would go straight there...

I am amused how some posters here were questioning Robbo earlier this year. Be it that he only had success because of SBW or the tactics he has employed such as bombing from midfield.

Many of his detractors were sadly our own fans up until a few weeks ago.

I can't add anything to the comments above as they are all spot on, secretly most supporters know know how well managed the chooks are , but an opportunity to bash up the chooks is to good to pass up.
Look at the trouble with the cap the Tigers are in, paying overs for players who should have moved on 3 years ago so instead they have a coaching revolving door.
Not even going to mention the Eels! The only thing the poor buggers have to celebrate is their pride & joy playing Gridiron.

am so glad Moa did not move on next year

in hindsight things may have been different following Jareds injury
