Dont take this too serious but could j.burgess work as a fb nxt year with a full pre season under his belt? As we all know his very quick and in the matches I've watched him play he has had some good kick returns with great footwork and strength . Biggest problem would be him communicating & his ball play but it's just a thought nothing too serious. The wing spot also can open up for l.mitchell or manu/Charlie taylor /toups if he stays. I'd be a happy man if he was selected on the wing anyway. P.s he wouldn't be any worse then alex Johnston as a full back Surely?

Dwz will be close to the best winger in the game by seasons end. Big strong ball runner with good instincts. Think I'd prefer an experienced fullback next year though if Hastings will be in the halves. Don't want to put too much pressure on him

It's not as though these experienced FB are in abundance.Originally posted by Bigchook View PostDwz will be close to the best winger in the game by seasons end. I believe Hayne will be fullback if he does not make the NFL cut. If he does make the cut (which experts have said is highly unlikely), I believe it will be Fergo or Latrell Mitchell. Maybe even the two in tandem.
As for Hayne, I have believed all along that is why they offered Jimmy unders, have yet to re sign Tupou and have offered to release Sam from his final year. Call me an optimist but I have no doubt Hayne will be in the red, white and blue next year if he misses the cut.Embrace the Hate! JC

Realistically JC, if Hayne wants to tick off a premiership from his bucket list then he has to join a strong club like us. Plus his manager is a grand amigo of Uncle Nick which helps!Originally posted by John Corey View PostI believe Hayne will be fullback if he does not make the NFL cut.
