Outstanding tonight. Evidence of what he can do when he receives the ball early and in space. Something we don't seem to do.

IMO him and Toops get marked out of the game a bit at club level because that's seen as being our stronger side. In Origin you can't really put 4 guys on Jenko/Toops because Morris will run amok on the other side. To be fair we have SKD and Fergo on the other side (who definitely can't be left unmarked) but I feel that club-grade games have more potential for teams to mark guys out of the game if they're a real threat.
Still... seeing the metres Jennings was chewing up made me think 'WTF is RTS getting all the ball?!?!? Jenko can potentially make more metres if you give him the pill!!'
Not saying Jenko's a FB, but... is he used enough?Last edited by ism22; 06-18-2015, 12:42 AM.

He sure was great tonight. Highly involved, looked confident, and played off the back of good early ball from Hodko and one or two from Pearce. Here's hoping he can carry that form back into club where we also adjust a bit to let him play his game. We definitely miss that sort of form from him

Where has that performance come from, he actually made a point of going looking for the ball, something he hasent done all year for us. I noticed he copped a huge spray in the various foums for being selected, and rightly so, his form has been pathetic, so lets hope lastnight was a sign of things to come. After the recent test match against the kiwi's, I posted, Australia were running on old legs, mainly all queenslanders in the side, and predicted nsw had its best chance for years to take out the soo series this year, the job is not done yet, but qld have finally been bitten by the stick by them forever system they use, and have ended up with a team of old slow players now. All our rooster boys had good games, and that can only be good for the club, well done nsw.

He doesn't have that slow cripple Hodges marking him every week.

Simple forget who does what Jenko played into form last night and thats what SOO does ...we shall reap those rewards at club level...its a shame thatTToups didnt play last nigh because he wouldve benefited from Jenks form .Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Yup! I don't think it was about getting early ball in the past games, it's about Jennings form that has been down. Last night he got involved in more than running from a pass and he was very good so hoping that is displayed on Monday.Originally posted by The Brain View PostSimple forget who does what Jenko played into form last night and thats what SOO does ...we shall reap those rewards at club level...its a shame thatTToups didnt play last nigh because he wouldve benefited from Jenks form .
