Roosters hit 10,000
28/04/2011 11:03:48 AM
The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce we have reached 10,000 Members for the first time in the club's history.
Michael Corrente signed himself and his two sons Johnathon and Nick as Members at Monday’s Anzac Day clash and Michael was officially awarded the title of 10,000th Member.
Mr Corrente has been a fan for five years and was keen to feel a part of the Roosters family
“I own a restaurant in the East and a majority of my customers are Members and I really love the club and so I wanted to support it and feel a part of it.”
There is no doubting the commitment of Michael, last year he attended every Roosters home game and all the finals matches.
To celebrate the milestone Jason Ryles presented Michael and his two sons with a Roosters branded 6.5Kg chocolate Easter egg.
Despite an indifferent start to the season Michael is confident the club will turn things around in 2011.
“We saw last year what we can do and there is still plenty of time this year so we will turn it around, we have too many good players not to.”
