well at least we won't have a depleted team come origin. Only players who warrant any real selection is Napa & maybe Cordner. The rest can **** off. Pearce & Maloney went missing... AGAIN. Tupou NEEDS to be dropped. He is offering nothing. Jennings, again poor. Massive pressure is mounting on Robinson, poor tactics, currently offering nothing in attack.

Honestly a couple of weeks ago I was in favour of Maloney and Pearce at 6 and 7 but they've played themselves out of it. Reynolds and Hodkinson shouldn't be there either. Jamie Soward is allegedly due back in a couple of weeks so if he can find good form he'd probably play 7 for me. Would have Aidan Sezer, Matt Moylan and Mullen all n contention for number 6.

The NSW halves is a sad state of affairs. God help us if Jamie Soward doesn't find form after returning from injury.

No way Soward plays Origin. You can't have a half who is too scared to run at the line. I wouldn't be surprised if Laurie doesn't go left field and pick a Dugan or similar at 5/8. The only reason Hodgkinson and Reynolds were there is because there was no one better. The pool to select from is very poor.

Honestly things were looking good this year before injury struck. Adam Reynolds would likely be your number 7 this year if he wasn't hurt and since Daley loves combinations you'd likely have Keary there who is solid when he has Reynolds to take the pressure off.

Soward I'm not particularly fond of but if he hits form and the form of Reynolds/Hodkinson and Maloney/Pearce remains poor I think he's have to be the guy simply because there isn't anyone else to choose from. He's also a very good kicker which saves Daley having to select someone who might not be the best choice simply because he needs a kicker.

I'd like Dugan involved if he gets some game time at 6.

            1. Moylan/Stewart

            6. Dugan

            7. Hodkinson

            9. Farah

Doesn't seem THAT bad for the dilemma NSW is in but the forwards and backs would really have to dominate if we went in like that.

Only form NSW halfback in my opinion is A.Reynolds then he got injured. I too was in favour of the Pearce & Maloney combo but yeah they have failed to deliver in close games & big moments.

pearce has played himself out of contention and maloney has to be a long shot as well.

Can't see the officials in origin falling for Dugans 'diving' tactics.

Dugan isn't a 5/8th's arsehole. Way too fragile and has no kicking or passing game.

I hope they go for Keary and Reynolds. Any disadvantage to souffs is an advantage to me.

Yeah, this is a huge test for him.

He is going to have to make some unpopular decisions over the next season or two.

Would love to see Blake Austin get the 5/8 jersey. He's creative and tough. Runs, passes and locks strongly. Going to be a very, very good player. An Austin Reynolds pairing would suit. Failing that hodkinson Austin.
