If you're a Panthers fan then you'd hope that is true, Coote would be a good replacement for Mini if his groin heals properly and returns to his earler 2010 form

I would love for us to get Coote good replacement for Mini and he is good with attacking bombs which we seem to like doing and he has a good surrporting game

He can catch when he gets to score a try, but put him under pressure and in defensive situations he is shaky under the high ball, the reason is he has a bad attitude.
Minichiello is streets ahead of him in terms of safety and defence at the back. In my opinion he is still a great fullback and people on this site are over the top in their baggings of him. Naughton and Ford are coming through and Perrett can play at the back, we dont need to sign Coote.

Our version of Coote is Luke Towers. For some reason has not been given an opportunity in first grade. Currently playing overseas.

Hoppa Jr would be my choice if we buy someone. Or Hoffman from the broncs.

Mark Khierallah is our version of Ben Barba. And those that question his defense, show me a tiny fullback that can tackle? Barba/Coote/Slater/Wesser/Campbell/Gardner/Zillman are attacking fullbacks, there defense is all suspect.

Give our own first crack at fullback, before paying overs for someone else.

I have it on pretty good authority, that the Raiders have just about had enough of Dugan and his rock star attitude. Their 20's coach was told to go out and buy the best young fullback that was available at the end of last season in case things continued to worsen with Dugan. Hence they signed Nathan Massey from the Bulldogs. They also have another youngster they rate highly in Hayden Hodge who can play fullback.

I doubt the Raiders would put up much of a fight to retain him unless his attitude changes.

No.. You only sign a player if they are good enough to play First grade in their own right. You don't sign someone just because they get a salary cap exemption.
