Yeah we do miss his runs from dummy half , takes some work off Friend. I am the first to panic when he is under the high ball and he does drop a few but his positives far outweigh his negatives IMO

Yep we definitely would have won with Perrett. The extra 30m he would have made over JC would have been enough to overcome our woeful completion rate.

I never said we would of won...

Why did we make so many errors? We were frustrated because we were struggling to get out of our end all night, Perrett takes a 10-15m scoot and then the opposition are on the back foot... he starts of nearly every single one of our sets with a good run. That's invaluable.

Carney is good for a hit up but coming out of our own half we spent about 3 tackles for barely 10 metres because the marker kept catching our dummy half runners.

I thought JCarney and BJ's runs out of dummy half last week were quite good. JCarney had a few goods ones yesterday too. Maybe not enough but that's how the game went for us. Perrett had a shocker against Manly. It is a long bow to think a wing position change is going to change yesterday's performance. He probably would have joined the queue of bad performances. It was one of those game where not much went right. It happened every second week for the first 4 months of last year.
