Why so many changes?

I didn't see the preview so why wasn't Symonds playing? FPN came in late so if he wasn't fully fit why didn't Smith take Arona. Why is Ryles back? I am glad Riddle (Riddell) wasn't playing BUT why does Smith keep changing so much. Are there injuries that I'm not aware off? With so much depth, he keeps bringing back the Ol' favourites.

Apart from Graham I thought the changes were ok.
We had the team to smash the warriors but we just weren't on our game today.

Carney made way too many passes that didn't hit the mark but if they had we were in clear running. I hope BJ comes back strong next week. One of those days where trouble just follows.

Friend had a super game. 49 tackles. He proved he can go 80 minutes.
JWH and Kennedy probably the next two best.
Myles, Conn, Mini and even Ryles went ok off the bench.

It's difficult to have some sort of structure and certainty in your side when there are late changes. Especially when you are away. And even more so when it's in NZ. It's not the place to take too many risks. Unless they were injured, in which case they shouldn't have been named, then you run out with the named side.
