Whilst i am upset at our current position on the table, i am heartened by the fcat that there are some bloody awfu teams in this comp and we should fall into the 8.

I am probably Pearces harshest critic, but i do not understand the uproar, Pearce is and will never be a matchwinning halfback who can create something from nothing, that is just not his go, he needs to look after the things he can control, marshalling the forwards and his kicking game giving us field position, Yes he can throw the odd good pass, but he is thinking way too much and has never been great under pressure.

Kick and organise MItch thats your job.

Carney is either playing injured or his head isnt in the right space, his play of crabbing across field then hitting a hole is being read far too easy, the communication between our halves and outside backs is non existant, both the bombs and short kicks created no pressure, as though they didnt know what was happening.

Mini had a dig yesterday but for farks sake he got in the way too often, he needs to pick and choose when the right time is, he stifled the amount of ball getting to our centres.

One of my favs is JWH, but he needs a stint at Newtown, his over-agression and dumb arse penalties are killing us, that was a huge momentum changer just before half time, that 1 minute of stupidity cost us the game.

Riddell is rubbush and is a waste of an interchange, we look a hell of alot better with friend on, The pig offers nothing, would newtown want him though????

Its a shame pez was hurt but it will hopefully give steroid boy a shot.

Tasi in for JWH

Me too. I think those changes would be excellent. Having Tasi and J. Carney in the squad is kind of like having a new toy at Christmas. You just want to try it out as soon as you can to see how good it is. Symonds is a class act. He needs to be in the 17 somewhere. Piggy Riddell is a fat useless sack of shit that offers nothing. He is simply a passenger.

We should get used to another player there for the sake of 20 minutes and giving us an extra player on the bench for 60 minutes. Anyone can pass the ball from dummy half. It happens all game when Friend is tackled or away from play. All we need is someone trained to do it for the first 20 minutes.

I saw big Mose throw a nice pass out of dummy half towards the end of the game yesterday. Maybe Mose can slot in. Why not, he was in everything else? He has been outstanding so far this season.

Top post, couldn't agree more with what you said.

Not sure about dropping Ryles just yet but maybe some stints off the bench like he did earlier in the season last year. Masoe has probably earnt the right to have a go at starting, biggest concern though is his inability to play long minutes. We need to get as many minutes out of him as possible... 15 at the start, 5-10 either side of half time and 10-15 at the end of the game, although Smithy should probably just stick to real basics this week with interchanges

I think our rotation is pretty much perfect as it is now, bringing in another forward is just going to limit the time of our quality players. Piggy is unfortunately just the best of a pretty lame bunch of hookers at the moment, obviously when Watts get back we'll be in a much stronger position but until then I don't really see a better option.

Possibly someone like Kherliah who has speed to burn as an impact player but even then he'd probably be better off developing in reserve grade where he'll be getting 80 minutes every week.

Piggy looks like his diet consists of hot chooks, So i could be. I want Piggy dropped of the bench. But i don't want Symonds or any other player getting some game time now getting comfortable and then getting shafted soon as Watts is back. That would be demoralising for them!

Watts could be 12 weeks away. If Symonds came in for 12 weeks and killed it, he won't be dropped. Who knows, from what I hear about Smithy and Watts, he may be on the bench for Newtown anyway if the boys are going good. There are way more negatives than positives with Piggy in the team. Actually I find it hard to think of a positive. We can't carry Piggy until Watts is ready.

Hooker? There is no such thing anymore. I can't recall Friend packing in at hooker this year. It is either at lock when we feed or a defending position when the opposition feed. So Piggy is not the best of a pretty lame bunch when it comes to 20 minutes of dummy half play.

Our quality players play for long minutes anyway. It is the likes of Ryles, Kennedy, Masoe, FPN, JWH and Myles that need the rest. With Piggy not playing for 60 minutes these guys have to share that time and sadly some seem to struggle. Having a fresh forward on the bench is to our advantage.

Carney is two games into his comeback having been unable to train for the entire off season. It's no coincidence that in the two games he has been back we have looked disjointed and unorganised at times and farking world beaters the next.

Clearly the guys are frustrated as they know they can play better but arn't which leads to undiscipline. We are a top 4 side make no mistake. When, not if but when we click we will dominate sides even the top ones.

It's round 3, get stoned, have a wank, kick a farking cat, but jeeus relax, we don't need to be making changes apart from injuries.

looking at alot of comments here, alot of people are hedging their bets on the return of Watts improving the team.

It has been publicly stated that if it was not for carney's DUI, Watts would have been shown the Door for his poor attitude. Would Watts really be the answer???
