Can anybody help Jarryd out. Seems he might not get his 4 free tickets to the Kumals test as he's been ruled out and we all know how much he complained when we only gave him 4 tickets to the ANZAC Test earlier this year. Maybe he knows of a hole in the fence at Parra Stadium.


VB Kangaroos winger Jarryd Hayne has tonight been ruled out of the Four Nations tournament with a hamstring injury.

Hayne missed Kangaroos training today to have scans and tonight met with VB Kangaroos coaching and medical staff after the results revealed a partial tear to the hamstring tendon at the origin – an injury that will sideline the Eels star for at least six weeks.

A “shattered” Hayne tonight said: “I feel empty at the moment.

“It was pretty sore over the weekend but I was hoping it would be all right.

“It means everything to me to play for my country so to miss out like this, I am shattered.

“I just want to wish the boys well for the tournament and now I just have to focus on my rehab and getting ready for next season.”

A replacement player has not yet been named.

If Uate dosen't get his wing spot instead of Morris it will officially declare how ****ing stupid the selectors really are.

You have a look at our backline now, apart from Slater and maybe Carney if the bald headed guy is out there is no real game breakers in that bunch. Boyd, Tate, Tonga and Morris dont really possess that sort of strength.

Morris cant perform outsside of the Dragons, Tate is past it and injury prone, Tonga is alright but without Thurston I'm not sure what to think and Boyd is slow, only reallly possesses a passing game but cant use that if he is on the wing!

I think Carney has to be in there ahead of either Cronk or Lockyer, the side for mine dosent have enough points in them, put Carney and Uate in there and we at least have some spark.

Hayne is very capable of playing on the wing though.. you have to be foolish to ignore his 2009 Origin performances on the wing when he won 3 MoM (for the blues)
