Biggest change will be the away jersey.

Well that sucks. I loved this years away jersey and as such bought one.

Perhaps the players could have snails and frog legs at half time !

It's well documented that the current easts home jersey (adopted in the 60's) was based on the french jersey.
But 'based on' is different to being the 'same as'.

I am happy to stay with what we have now, so long as we have the full V and not the bib like we had the first part of 2010.

But I'm sick of chopping and changing the jersey, and I hate having half dozen different jersey during the year.
I think the away jersey should not be an 'away' jersey as such ....rather it should be an 'alternate' strip. We should wear the white (away) jersey only when our home (or main strip) clashes with the opposition. Why should we have to wear the white merely because we are playing away ....we should only have to wear the white jersey when we are away and our main strip clashes with the home team.

As for the other heritage/ foundation jersey ...... I dont mind wearing them on Anzac day, but that should be it.
All up that would mean we would wear the main strip 3/4's of the year, the white strip about 1/4 and the heritage/foundation/anzac strip just the once !

I agree with your point about jerseys changing each year. I know it's big money spinner, but sometimes you want a jersey you can really identify with and keep for years.

spot on. i never understand why the heritage jersey appears randomly throughout the season. the foundation jersey should be for the foundation cup, the heritage for heritage round and anzac for anzac day clash. rest of the time, we're at home, we wear the home jersey, away we wear the away jersey unless its against say the dragons who have a predominantly white jersey in which case the home jersey can be worn. there needs to be some governance on this again, its become a free for all. this season we've had home, away, 75, heritage, foundation, women in league and anzac. 7 jerseys all used at random times throughout the year-ridiculous!

We didn't waer the foundation jersey this year (the horizontal stripes) but we did wear our 7th jersey in the close the gap round.

I reckon the only reason we didn't wear a foundation jersey this year was that it wasn't gonna work with the steggles logo. The foundation jersey has been on the isc site all year and from looking at the changes I'm really glad we didn't use it.

can't we just stick to our traditional jerseys..
bringing in too many designs is rather troubling don't you think..
although I do quite like the white jerseys..

The jersey we wore in the GF should become our Main jersey! I was going to buy the GF jersey, but for some reason they were sold to the general public with an old school collar and button, instead of the new design collar as the players wore

It's like we had a budget cut and couldn't get all the stripes. So we shortened the ones we had.

we were never going to wear that jersey it seems; with the club withdrawing the jersey as soon as Samsung left us
