It's worked out pretty well with O'Meley and Mason's contracts running out with us at the end of next season. Means we can give SKD, Anasta, Conn, Ryles and co decent upgrades.

We need to resign SKD, Ryles, FPN, Anasta (but I think he is getting a renewal), Conn and Kennedy. I can't see many buys in the future if we going to keep them.

Agree with all of those too BTR.......we have a great future ahead with the young blood at the club, and the inclusion of Lama Tasi, and Justin Carney and anthony watts, we will go great gunns.......

i'd like to see how ryles goes next year before we react to our success this year by giving him a long term contract!

Ryles has a one year option in his favour if he plays so many games next year. A bit like Kirk Reynoldson at the Knights

I thought SKD extended some time this year but it could have been someone else.

I'd add Marty Kennedy in that group. We need to secure him long term. He will be our metre eater/line bender for years to come.

my understanding is that franky, linnett have 1 year left under contract. friend, Mose have 2 years left. I think tasi signed a 2 year deal. Despite what some on here believe, kennedys contract expires this year but he isn't going anywhere.

Smith is very keen not to lose any of our top young kids who will deserve upgrades in the next 2 years so don't expect any overpaid recruits to be signed by smith. We will also have all of mason & shreks money available next year too which is a positive.

spot on and i agree. its all about retention now. we have a glut of talented youngsters some of whom are yet to actually grace first grade (cordner, blair (when he actually has a go), atkinson, tasi).
