  • The Rain

It has been bucketing down here in Camden all day.

Can anyone tell me what it's like at Homebush?

This weather is breaking my heart. It's Dragon weather.
Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

Why do you think it helps us mate?

I'm thinking with the style of footy we play it will be a major hinderance.

The Dragons though, they play tight & keep it simple.

Yeah, I think we're stuffed now.

Its not the rain that will worry us. Its the quality of the surface.

Suggesting we are stuffed merely because of the weather is absolutely ridiculous.

At least their gameplan would probably be even more predictable than it already is... I hope there aren't fluky tries scored which Dragons are capable of... I could see most of their tries coming from kicks if they win

                Look at the Warriors game.

We tore them to pieces, but couldn't sustain it for eighty minutes.

Now, we are a better football team, by 40 minutes, easily.

                Rain won't worry us.

Think positive. Something/someone out there loves us, the weather will be perfect when kick off comes around.

A pointless stat from @TripleM_NRLlive: Rain tipped for GF. FACT: Todd Carney has won just once EVER when it rains during a match (1-6)#NRL

IT certainly favours the boring shit scum.
But I think Smith is too clever to let them play like they did against Penrith in 2003

If it rains the Dragons only way of getting deep enough in our end to score is via penalties....which Archer will no doubt oblige them with.

thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow arvo, will be a very dour game just how the Dragons like it, not impossible for us but it certainly doesn't help.

The only positive is that if the rain is going to hinder our attacking flair,it is going to make it worse for the Dragons.

They find it hard enough as it is to score points, the rain will make it almost impossible for them.

Unfortunately we are going to have to beat them at their own game, and hopefully jag an extra point and win the game.

                            It definetly is possible!
