Who's going to the SFS today?

I'll be coming down from the mountains with the 3 kids, so I hope there's going to be a big crowd.

My oldest boy is jumping out of his skin that we are in the GF.

Taking my son today, we are both very pumped about this whole week. Been having a text battle with a mate that is a Merge supporter and love to feel the vibe of his nerves.

I will be going with a mate who is also a big fan of the chooks. Will be interesting to see if jaubs will be there.

Took the day off work to get to the SFS for the Open Training today.

Some players were more generous with their time meeting the fans than others, most doing constant media interviews:

Ryles- massive human, took time to take photos and have a chat. Nice guy.

Graham- said he is confident of playing!!!

Braith,Toddy & Jr Jr- seemed reserved but said they are confident

SKD, Nate & Sammy- just nice happy guys, their smiles were very genuine

Conn- the porn star had the girls blushing

FPN- nice guy, but has shrunk big time!

Mini & Maubs- rearing to go

Friend, BJ & Misterrrrr Kenedy- looked excited


Smithy- you could tell the guy is intense, said Jaubs is feeling better, ONE TO GO was met with "we are good enough to do it"


But the star for me was JWH, a massive human, spoke-signed-took photos with EVERYONE! Even jumped over the fence into the crowd to have photos taken.

Living in the Manly area, I told him that I am extremely happy he went from Manly to the Roosters... response... "so am I". Nice. Seems like a gentle giant, but would not like to piss him off.


Thought there might have been a better turnout, but great all the same.

Instead of finishing at 1.30pm, some players hung around till close to 3pm. Nice.

Left the SFS on a high. Am pumped. Bring on the St SCUM.

I caught a cab from the CBD to meet a mate there. Got there at 11.45 but the players did not come out till about 12.45. I left at 1pm as I had a meeting to attend

From what I saw, players looked relaxed after completing a weights session

Apart from meetings I have to attend, constructive work this work is going to be tough. I sat with rooster69 at a cafe this morning for 1.5hrs talking footy and watching the line at the Ticketek Park St filter into Ticketek.

Got to love the Islander boys, all of them made a point of stopping with my kids, 6, 4 & 2, and having a quick chat.

Noycey seems like he genuinely loves the club and he did a real good job of getting all the fellas, even the ones who didn't want to go up.

And I pity the poor bastard in the the Rooster costume, he would have been sweltering.

Spare a thought for our mascot on sunday....even though Rocky gets to run out before the team, you can be assured that costume stinks to high heaven and is extremely uncomfortable......But she is really happy to have the chance to do it again....

I already asked for the location but not for Conn....nice guy but not my type, but will happily assist Marty and Jared in their endevours......
