pearceand maubs had ice, hargreaves went up the tunnel but came back on. i assume nothing serious and all should be sweet.

carney's high shot on report was a joke and will not see any further attention.

Only Jaubs, with a broken heart

Hopefully, Phil the dill is ok for the GF, JB looked a little lost on the wing

Come on crikey, that's a bit harsh on JAubs.
You are right about Leilua on the wing though and that is a bit of a chink in the defensive armour.

When I saw Maubs icing his hammy in the dying minutes, I had visions of the 'Ricko Leg' articles that flooded the papers in the week leading up to the 2002 grand final....

Same type of player, same type of heart, same type of injury - now just give me the same result!

That's what I was thinking ... spooky parallels. Hope he's okay; he's vital to our chances. Jeez his defence was awesome, last night.

Added is the fact that Ricko was there celebrating with Maubs and the boys after the final whistle!

I watched the interview with Smithy on Fox, he was very impressed with BJ he thought he was one of our best out there.

I thought the same with BJ. He was targetting heavily in defence and found out for speed and positioning a couple of times, but he kept on putting in and taking the ball up. It been a big step up from where he was playing this time last year and the kid tried his guts out last night. I was very proud of him!

In the Smith interview he also said there were no major injuries and the only position with a question mark on it was the 4th bench spot.......but that is the subject of another thread!
