I agree 100%.

We have played better in our 3 losses than we did today. The difference being we got the bounce of the ball today. We had no right to win today. If we had a bit of luck when we played Cronulla and Gold Coast we would of won those games easily.

The first half performance is a worry.

The second 40 minutes today was the best in our last 4 weeks. We didn't push too many passes and took the tackle rather than kick ahead or go for the miracle pass. In the end it led to tries. Our defense was also excellent. I think the video session this week will be great for the team. First half - this is what we have been doing wrong the last month. 2nd half - if we played like this for the last four weeks we would be 9-0.

That bit of attacking patience is what we have lacked over the past 3 weeks, and hopefully the patience and more selective attacking passes we saw in the second half is what we see for the rest of the season.

What did you think of the Carney break soon after? I think he decided to do what Pearce had done and take the tackle, but in this case there were unmarked supports on both sides.
