  • No blaming the Refs Tonight

there is no way we can blame the Refs tonight, yes there was a couple of dud non forward pass calls in the first half, but we were responsible for our own downfall tonight.

-our forwards are powder puffs with ball in hand, little more than tackling machines at the moment.

    - no respect for posession

    - no patience

    - why the **** is Koups in the team, 12 minutes of crap what a waste of a bench spot, we were busted in the forwards with Masoe and Myles carrying injuries and could have used a JWH/Paea/Guerra.

I was blowing up that often I can't remember who dropped the most ball
the forwards of the backs, You cant run with to much gusto when you cant hold the ball.

I've said this in several posts over the last few weeks, and been castigated big time. The players have been reading the crap written about them in the papers, and believed it.

The players still think they are playing Parramatta.

Carney had 6 errors on his own. Sam Perret 3. I'd say it was our backs that let us down today.

Our forwards are fine. Our gameplan centers on d/h running by backs and forwards shutting down the middle in defence.

I'm still getting my head around how you get 6 again called against you after a shoulder charge which jolts the ball loose.

The Zillman one was even more comical.

the problem with our forwards was they created no platform no offloads and the Titans gouged us straight down the middle constantly, we won't go anywhere without the forwards standing up and laying a platform.

The Titans were simply too good for us tonight,we had no answers.

The Titans were good, but gee they get away with slowing down the ruck. If we tried doing what they do we'd be penalised 20-2.

The Roosters actually "won" the penalty count against the titans which is a minor miracle but as Kingbilly stated there were some calls in the first half that hurt the Roosters in terms of draining a weakened team (Myles, Mose and FPN) of energy.

We were leading the count 3 - 0 at one stage, all awarded by Badger! - who incidently called on Lyons to play on when he pulled up Anasta for the 'knock on'.

Would have been nice to get some more penalties for holding down in tackles. We can never seem to get that part of the game right. Everyone seems to get it right against us.

Our "wrestling" coaching team mustn't be as good as theirs.
