Just noticing there's a big game on Sunday and I've got nobody to go with *poor me*

If anybody's going with a big group or can identify an area where lots of Roosters fans will be for the game then this would be much appreciated.

I'm keen to get some pre-match drinks into me before the game too... is the captain cook a good place for that, or is there a big place where all the fans go? (I usually go with my family, but they're busy this weekend so am unaware of all these things.)

I think the Dragon Army's pregame pub is the Cook so you might get some company, but of the red and white variety! Fox and Lion, or any of the number of pubs after Central up Fouveaux St if you're catching the train in, might be better for Roosters fans.

And I think Chooks fans might be badly outnumbered inside the ground, so the Chook Pen (Bay 33) is the place to be!

Sweet! Do I need a special ticket to get into 33, or can I just walk in so long as I'm a Roosters fan?

I'll be walking to the game as I live about 10 minutes from the SCG... but I'll check the pubs along Foveaux and wear my supporters gear so that it's pretty obvious which crowd I belong with. PUMPED!!!

The pen is in bays 32 and 33 Sue (according to SCG map on ticketek) and Ism22, while you do need a chookpen pass to get into the pen, you can always walk in during the game

how easy is it? im a student so regularly get general admission but always look over at the pen with jealous eyes.
i remember when i was a kid going to games and sneaking into the pen but kids seem to be able to get away with more.

Will a reserved ticket get me into the pen or do I need to be a member?
