  • Canberra game next week

For all you supporters making the trip down the Hume next Sunday, where are you all planning on sitting.

Im taking the family and am sick to death of sitting in amongst the Raiders supporters over the past few years since moving down here.

    Cheers.

Can you at least wait till after the second half to talk about the next game?

Always a good idea to sit near the south east side of Canberra Stadium. That way you'll get the sun for most of the day but won't be looking into it.

          Bump.

Where will the travelling Chook Pen be sitting this weekend?

In previous years I remember being behind the goals at the northern end (the end closer to the AIS), around about bay 61-62.

I'm guessing most Roosters supporters will just congregate in the General Admission area?

The year before last when Mario and his wife organised a supporters bus down for us all, we sat in bays 56-58 ...
With the weather the way it is at the moment, it really does not matter where you sit.......its going to be FREEZING.......

            Have fun all those travelling...

ok guys, here is the info for the supporters bus organised by the Club.

Ticketing and transport for round 17
              29/06/2010 1:30:00 PM
The Sydney Roosters travel down the Federal Highway this Sunday afternoon to take on the Canberra Raiders in the national capital from 2:00pm.

The Roosters will be looking to return to the winners circle after another loss to a lower ranked opponent, the Raiders again provide that danger and a definite home ground advantage.

That was breached last start and you can be sure they won’t want to disappoint the locals again but strong support is needed to keep the Tricolours in the eight this round.

Purchase your match day ticket for entry to the ground online here at Ticketek.

You can get to the game in comfort and hassle free thanks to Allan Barnes Coaches who will be running the Roosters Supporters Bus.

The bus will leave from outside Easts Leagues club in Spring Sreet, Bondi Junction at 8:00am to depart for Canberra. The return trip costs $40 for Members and $50 for non-Members.

If a spot on the bus is booked before Thursday close of business travellers will also be given the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the reserved supporters bay for $20, being the only discounted ticket available to both Members and non-Members.

Call Easts Leagues Club reception on (02) 9386 3200 or Roosters Football Club on (02) 8063 3800 to book today
The tickets for the bus doesn't look to include a ticket to the game, so those going will need to buy the ticket to the game separately.

As sue said, last time we were there we sat in bays 56-58, this is the inner bowl.

              Inner bowl tickets cost:

              Adult $28
              Pensioner/Student $22.50
              Child (under 15) $11.50

(and they say the SFS is a ripoff !!!!!)

GA prices are the same as the Inner bowl prices.

I will be watching the game in a bar on the Gold Coast this weekend. The beers will be cold, that's about it.

I'm not going. I'm still scarred from the bus trip and game experience in 2007 that phantom mentioned.

Would have to beat getting into Skilled Park.
That was like getting into Fort Knox a few weeks ago.
