If they lose but have a real go and it's a close one then I'll still be happy...as long as they don't hammer us like last year...
But there's a real unknown factor to this team this year...new coach...new players...anything could happen on the day and don't be surprised if there's an upset...I won't be...
But they just wont win the big ones while Brian is at the helm.
It will be like a Gould era.
Its why Gus picked him.
You might be right, but he's the coach we need now. There are past premiership winning coaches out there - Hasler, Sheens, Lang, Stuart - that I don't believe would do the job any better. Bennett would have been good, but that didn't happen. Bellamy would be great, but he wasn't available.
Yes, Smith hasn't won a comp despite many attempts. Should we call up someone who has? Chris Anderson maybe?

Our young team and Smith are made for each other, we will see plenty of good stuff from both of them, ofcourse its going to be a very competitive season with so much talent in so many teams, but that makes for great footy. We will win our share, and with an even shake in the penalties, and not too many bad injuries we have a definite chance of playing in the finals this year.
