Most of the players we think are the Roosters greats are not here because of POS.
So easy that our foundation club had never won an SG Ball competition in our proud history?

Now we're the reigning premiers and have won 3 of the past 7 since POS arrived. Just another coincidence I guess?

Or because Jason Taylor got a promotion to Assistant Coach, Paul Green got a promotion to Head Coach & Adrian Lam got promoted to Assistant coach.

The reason why we, and many other clubs go through so many Under 20's coaches is because it's a launching pad not a career position.

Well I definitely know the former isn't true, the biggest issues raised over POS's time at the club has been his continual overlooking of local talent. It's a fair criticism because our club has an obligation to develop local talent but not all the blame should be solely laid at his feet. I think there should be internal policy changes put in place such as a mandatory 20% (bare minimum) of our rep squads being sourced from local clubs.

We have no juniors so are a recruitment club (making Sully so valuable). To bring in a policy like that and shoot ourselves in the foot would be downright idiotic.

Things are changing and we are getting more local kids in the HMs and SG Ball training squads, which is what is wanted, just an opportunity. Its not necessarily about getting them in the final teams, thats a bonus. Its about opportunity.
Thats something that hasn't been available in the past.

The affiliation with the Central coast could be a benefit to the local kids as it widens the development and hopefully sweeps the locals along with it. The ramping up of junior development, ie the change in roles for Craig Walker can only be a good thing.

Wining SG Ball is great, but its really not that important, whats important is what those players go on to.

He also calls Latrell Mitchell the best prospect he's ever seen, you can take that as you please but from a man who's recruited Inglis, Izzy and Roger, it speaks volumes about him.

I hope POS is here for a long time.
Was Lattrell injured when our NYC were in the finals?

Yeh had a rib cartilage injury although was expected back in time for finals. I'm pretty sure he was expected back before finals though. I suspect this year was purely for the experience he's still got another year of SG Ball so he's still relatively young for the NYC.

POS has the runs on the board, most other clubs have "POS pretenders only" we are all wise after the event the are only a few who are wise before when it counts , years before the events are schedule.

50k was the minimum back then for an NRL contract.. 80k is the current, Toops is good but lacks what it takes to be the best.. Guerra is full of himself and often @ the expense of whats best for the team..

50k was the minimum if you were in the top 25 highest paid. Wasn't the minimum for players not included in that 25 though.

If you watched one of the games where we were 'off' last season, Guerra was often the only one who looked like it meant anything to him.

Are you getting him mixed up with Cordner and his unwillingness to pass when he's in the clear?

Perhaps this year only certain people were allowed to pass and others had to run it up and do the hard work, we all saw how many dropped balls went to ground last year and possession is often key to building momentum.

I think 2015 will see the instructions and roles change abit and maybe TIT might unleash an off loading machine, till then safest bet is to play percentage football.

Maybe the coaches of the RWB, Maroons and Green and Gold think a little differently to you Johnny T, which team do you coach ?

You have to coach a national, State or NRL side to be able to give an opinion now do you?

He is a massive hog. He often bombs tries going himself. That doesn't mean I don't want him in our side.
