You can put Sams inprovement down to Self belief and Drive to succeed................in saying that, you can only do so much yourself.

He is another player that will also improve under Smith, i am quietly tipping that he may be considered for captaincy some time in the next couple of season.

Sam Perrett would be a fine choice for Captain. He is the type of man all young people should look up to and aspire to be like. A good Mormon boy who does not drink and does not smoke.Great role model material.I cannot think of anybody better equipped to captain this great club.In fact I feel he should be promoted to Captain immediately and also promoted as the face of this great Rugby League club.

Chris Anderson was also a winger and according to my book of records he captained Canterbury Bankstown at one stage.

I would say that is the ONLY reason against him being made captain but is it a good enough reason? Trying to think of previous captains who were also wingers but I'm drawing a blank.

He has a problem communicating with offiicialdom on the field Quite frankly he does not know how to do this without seeming confrontational amd aggressive towards the referees.Personally since the Faalogo incident I feel the referees have no respect for him therfor he would not be my choice for Captain
