Does anybody know whether Alex Thomas is still with us in 2015? I'm thinking he could be fast tracked into the top squad as back up to Friend

Apparently he's gone. I still find it very hard to believe they wouldn't want to hold onto him. Local junior and that 20s team falls apart when he's not on the field. A bit like first grade without Friend. -
Surely Hastings will take that role next year. Covers all the 'spine' positions including fullback and kicks goals if Maloney goes down. Top player to boot.Comment

I hope Alex stays, but if he goes it will probably be to seek better opportunities.
He is a great kid and works very hard, picking Hastings over him when Friend was out was a bit of a slap in the face, but then it may have been that he was more important to the U20s.
Good luck to him where ever he goes he has earnt it.The Internet is a place for posting silly things

Not a bad player... His lack of hight will probablty mean he will never be regular first grade player.
I believe Grant Garvey will be a better prospect, he was carrying an injury in the 2nd half of the season.Comment
