obviously no one at the club is going to admit whether we are in the market for Foran or not, but the more relevant question is should we be outlaying big dollars for a number 6 for 2016 or worrying about keeping together what we already have.

I get the feeling that Robbo would love to have Foran, he is Robbo's type of player, a competitor who will spill blood for the team cause.

be good but we have better options give malony another year whilst soh learns the ropes of first grade, seems the best option , bbq although up and down plays big in big games, kick lots of goals , has a great developed playing relationship with pearce( who might just be a smoky as back up half in the aussie side?) Absolutely not. What does Foran actually bring besides toughness? He is totally over rated and certainly no better than anything we currently havem

I'd say no....as we have the bases covered, couldn't afford him and have too much up and coming talent.

However the thought of Pearce playing in the halves with his best mate, (or in the same team...as Foran could play Lock IMO) I reckon both would go to another level (a scrumbase trio of Foran, Pearce and SoH) would make the Foran/DCE partnership seem like John the Baptist before the coming of Jesus.

Add that to the return of SBW in 2017 (also a close mate of Foran from their Kiwi Test Days) and I am literally creaming myself......then I wake up.

But surely all signs point to SH being the eventual replacement for Jimmy, who I'd still love t see here for another 3 years.

Good player but not needed IMO. We must focus our money on keeping our current players, and with Hastings coming through there is no need to look at a long term 5/8. Plus if SBW comes back we will need some space for him too

I highly doubt Foran is a great mate of SBW.
Given Foran's life off the field SBW would not tolerate 1 second of him.

Foran is also not a locks backside.

If Foran comes Pearce's game will go down the toilet as he hits the grog even more
