  • The reason we will win...

When someone tells you over and over and over... AND OVER... that their failures are in the past. That this is a new team. That there's a positive feeling atm. That its different this year. That they're not thinking about last year.

Do you know what they're really thinking about?

Last ****ing year! Last year's failures. Their fears. Their insecurities.

Seriously, every mong Souffs player that incessantly talks about how this year is different and how confident they are - they're making me grin from ear to ear.

A bit like the kid at school who feels the need to tell everyone how tough he is all the time. You know straight away that deep down he's a pussy who wets the bed at night.

And this is Souffs. They're not embracing their past in an honest way and looking to improve. They're avoiding their fears with all this posturing in the media.

That's why we will take them to 'dark places'. And it's why we will win.

Essentially, the more Souffs are built up, the more confident I am of victory.

totally agree. the fact they keep addressing it tells me it is playing on their minds. Gordan tallis was talking about the pressure that was at the club when he was on coaching staff and it seems nothing has changed. if we can hurt them early I think they might implode

They remind me of North Sydney every time they got close it was their year they're running scared.

The fact that we are better than them also helps

"Last year we were all over the shop... this year is different... I can't explain why it's hard to put into words." Greg Inglis.

Firstly, let's be honest the bloke struggles to put his name into words.

And secondly, why was last year all over the shop? What an odd thing to say.

And very convincing argument as to why this year is different!

I'm just concerned about our psychology.

Our tendency to allow teams back into the game.

It's happened with regularity this year and it has happened the last 3 or 4 games or so in a row.

I'm confident we have the better team, but maybe they will simply have too much hunger?

It could be a nail-bighter right down to the final minutes again.

Coach is still crap, nepotism is still rife (with Russ shagging that bloody MILF), Te'o is still a wife basher, Ingis is still a wife basher and 99% of the 'fans' only support them because they feel sorry for Souffs. (Which I always find ironic because they are a rich club with a bunch of stars who get good treatment from the refs).

Oh and now they have Keary whinging about not being able to join GI in QLD (before he's even played a full year of first grade... you're a short, white version of Folau mate!! Broach the issue when NSW/QLD actually want you!!)

                  LOL@Souffs!!!
