Everyone needs to rip in and have pride in our line, need to be defensive arsehole if we are to win it this year. That's all for now!

We need our left edge back and fullback fit to have any hope

Fix our D and we have the attack to do the rest, It will flow on to all aspects of our game..

That's why we are struggling so far. The intensity in D is just not there yet.

We miss Jennings in D. I remember Sterlo complimenting Jennings defence in last years GF and saying how it was a big factor in our success.

The lack of intensity in D is why the Manly grubs have beaten us twice already this season. I don't think they believed that they could beat us after that 4-0 Semi Final win last year. (Foran said as much in his interview straight after the GF loss)

The last thing you want to do is give a sucker an even break and unfortunately we have thrown the advantage back over to them IMO.

I suppose it's just a case of getting everyone back firing and fit and hope they can get that 'attitude' back for another crack at it.

Getting back our left edge of Toups (injured now?), Jenko and Cords will work wonders I feel. Looking back at our season, I can't recall too many tries being scored down our left when those three have been there; last week against Cronulla and even against Newcastle, this was the side of the field where our defence most struggled

I'm starting to get the feeling we will come out strong against Penrith. It's all about building, and a solid defensive display is imperative if we are to start our run after this bye.

I miss seeing Manly have about 6 sets back to back, in no less than three games last year (reg. season and qual. final), and come up empty.

Those merkins with their much vaunted attack couldn't touch us last year. It took a blatant obstruction and a penalty try for them to make the GF scoreline look pretty.

But at Brooky this year they scored pretty easily. Shift wide, try. Shift wide, try.

Very frustrating and indicative of our season to date.

Bring back the GREAT WALL OF BONDI!!!!

Aubo has always been only an average defender in the centres. When it comes to on-line defence he often jams in when it is not necessary and at times does not have the pace laterally to cover his opposition centre. I've said it before but a lot of people shot me down I guess because he has excellent technique and is an exceptional defender in the backrow. Now we're seeing how much it's hurting us to have him there instead of Jennings who in my opinion was the best defensive left centre last year.

                This!
Our D needs to improve significantly against the Panthers, otherwise bye bye back-to-back!
It is the business end of the season so time to make a statement and play for the entire 80 mins.
C'mon Roosters - we know you can do it!

                    Bring Mini home

Foundation Gold Coast Titans forward Mark Minichiello has opened up about his disappointment at being told to find a new club.

Minichiello is the most capped Titans player in the club’s eight-year history, having run out 165 times for the NRL’s youngest franchise.

But the 32-year-old is off-contract at season’s end and confirmed he has been told he won’t be offered a new deal at this stage.

Minichiello and 34-year-old prop Luke Bailey are the only inaugural Titans from 2007 left at the club and both are off-contract this year.

Read more at the Courier Mail

Would be awesome to see Anthony and Mark play together.....

We don't need them, but some of the clubs in the lower half of the ladder could possibly use these two experienced and tough war horses for maybe one or two years.

He used to be called Mini Minor. Guess now days he could be Mini Senior ?
Was going to write he could be handy for Newtown ....but after last weeks announcement, maybe Wyong could use him next year !

How many games did Mark actually play for us. I am stretching my memory to place him and I can remember Greg Bourke.
