Fark me, so many weeks of Channel 9 boofheads of Gould & Co will do my head in if Willie Wanka doesn't piss off so I can attend at least some of these games.

What have we done to deserve this??

At least we'll know by round 5 if our season is over for 2010.

        Chook.

Problem is, if that happens I can figure that out for myself without Gould earbashing and lecturing on it after week 1 and the other boffins gloating about it after week 3.

Not to mention the hour delay in telecast and the bleeding commercials which disrupt the continuity of the games.

Looks great! I'm getting excited already! Hopefully I'll get to most of those matches anyway.

I'm really surprised as the current spooners we would get 5 straight Nein matches, someone know something we don't?

it helps to have the channel 9 boss on our board, is he still there?

Gyngell still loves the roosters. What better way to secure a sponsor than to tell them that we have 5 straight games on free to air tv

He is, took a break but came back at the start of last year if I remember correctly.

Not sure if this is a good thing, we rate well on TV and always have but it'd be nice to see those numbers convert into a crowd attendance for a change.

Can't complain with 4 Sunday afternoons though.

Dubai, this is a football forum, in case you haven't noticed.

And If you expect me to be happy that our club is a rabble and we are wooden spooners, think again. I'm not that easily pleased.

And if you're happy suffering the second rate coverage Channel 9 dishes out compared to the Fox coverage, then good luck to you. I'm not.

My mood and attitude regarding the footy will improve when there are clear signs the Roosters have. Not before.

5 channel 9 games in a row at start of season will help attract sponsor. Nice work from Gyngell

That's what you have guys with this sort of influence on your board for - to achieve outcomes like this
