James Maloney made some errors with his passing and missed a kick that would be easy for a %80 goal kicker - crucial mentally with 8 to go.

that kick out on the full was a massive turning point, we had them going backwards until that moment. Agree that gfs aren't won at Brookvale but we had a huge psychological advantage over Manly in the gf last year, if we meet them again they will be the ones expecting to win. Tonight was a great opportunity for us to show them who's boss. I'm afraid Manly now have that mantle, thanks to Pearce.

No doubt that Pearceys kick cost us, i think Jake Friends kick dead on the 3rd tackle hurt us more. That was an absolute rubbish play and well below a player of his standard.In my opinion Pearce made up for the kick by backing up and outpacing snake to the tryline.
