how many differences do we actually have with the team Coggy??

We have carney, grahame and possibly ryles

and losing fitzy, shack, sia and most likely mason.

basically we have a similar side to last season.

the one difference.............the coach.

The one difference will be ATTITUDE.

That is one of the most important ingredients.

Apart from Carney, who knows how the other new signings will compare with those gone

You can make a case that Ryles cancels out O'Meley, and Hargreaves ditto Shackleton. Maybe we lose, maybe we win. Time will tell. Graham is an ageing utilty back that Canberra didn't want. Hopefully he'll do well, but it says a lot about our dearth of quality 3/4's that he's seen as some sort of key signing. No-one replaces the loss of the great man, of course.

The 2 key additions, in order, are Smith and Carney.

Smith just strikes me as exactly the guy we need. As long as Politis gets out of his way and lets him have free reign, he will change the place. He's a more important signing than all the new players put together.

As for Carney, he'll provide penetration in the halves, which we have been lacking for years.

But primarily because of Smith, things are looking up

While I have hope and think this will be a very different year, the players feeling good means bugger all because they say that every year.

You can add some of our younger players like Williamson and Symonds playing a full season.

What some are also missing apart from who we have gained is the positives of who we have lost; Mason, Sa, Sia and hopefully SKD. A far better side than 2009. BS will bring back that attitude, fitness level and attacking/defense structures which we lacked.
