It was a blessing in disguise as the admin has either been forced to update or reinstall vbulletin.

For the first time in years I can use the 'go to first unread' button in the mobile theme (used to take me to a blank screen) and I no longer get a double loading screen at the forum indexes.

Seriously? I sort of picked up on the vibe that he was messaging people, but didn't think he'd go so low as to write about those sorts of things.

I did a little bit of a search on the supposed hacker & it seems that there is a group of them that take pride in disrupting websites all around the world. They list what they have achieved with their hacking ie frontpage hijacked, data base frozen etc.
It's like a badge of honour for them & they backslap each other on their achievements.
Whether someone (banned from here) is a member of that group or just dropped our site in their bucket for "mention",who knows?
