  • Referees email

Have sent off an email complaining about the bad refereeing over the last few months (not just against Roosters but in general). If anyone wants the emails they are as follows:-

    Daniel Anderson danderson@nrl.com.au ,
    Tony Archer
    tarcher@nrl.com.au
    Russell Smith
    rsmith@nrl.com.au

Not sure if anything will come of it but I think if there is any chance at getting the probs rectified prior to the finals then leave no stone unturned!!

I don't think it's a conspiracy at all. I also don't think we lost Monday night because of the refs alone. I merely am pointing out the referees need to improve in general. I certainly didn't suggest it was just against the Roosters. In fact I was more appalled at the squirrel grips leg twisting etc that isn't pulled up. I would much prefer to see this stopped in the game and my emails prob won't do anything but neither does typing in this forum but that hasn't stopped anyone before. Besides nothing ventured ...

For once I agree with Toovey - the Referees should be held accountable - Good luck !

I was speaking to a current day video ref (previously rated one of the higher first grade refs by some) at a Men Of League function last year. He told me Smithy used to regularly send Harrigan emails about the Roosters getting the rough end of calls giving specific examples for each game. He said Harrigan used to call the other refs into his office and they all used to have a big laugh about them.

                  Good luck with your endeavours.

And that is why he lost his position. That just speaks of Harrigan's unprofessionalism and how he didn't take the role seriously. In any other business or organisation, your staff must be held accountable for any errors made and take the necessary steps to ensure staff are trained properly, otherwise you will not be taken seriously.

Harrigan was blowing up that we got dudded with at least 5 calls on Triple M the other night.

I've never liked the prick myself but I must say I don't mind listening to his interpretations on Triple M.
