  • We need a DRS system

It's the only way I can see these inept decisions being limited.
    Just like in the NYC.
Two for each team in each half.
Sure errors will still occur and some 50/50 may also go against a team but there will be occasions where some of those crappy calls will be corrected. If that bullish!t strip penalty was overturned last night and we go on the attack rather than them get the roll on, that one call could have made the difference last night.

Totally agree,it would have done wonders for us last night with the Guerra non strip call.
The only issue i have with it is that the incompetent refs would still get decisions wrong.

Easts would benefit more than any other team in the competition..

Its sad that it has come to this where we feel ripped off on a regular basis..
Hopefully the boys can overcome it and win the comp this year,it would be massive!

Does DRS stand for Dead Referee Solution whereby irate Chookpenners have the legal right to execute any match officials who through either conspiracy or incompetence fail to officiate the correct result?

                Bit like the video ref?
Having the option is cool but when there's more safeguards in place and they still fark up it makes it a harder pill to swallow.

Take away the 'strip' and allow Sheck's try... game Roosters, 'nuff said. Poor reffing can change a game.

Sharkies did play well (and beat us end out the day... it was our fault, they were too strong.) But is s*x losing under such conditions.

I don't want it, Braith would never be a captain again if it happened and I could not watch that happen to a bloke who is just that good.

They would still find some way to screw us with a DRS !

Actually one decision that has escaped most people's wrath was late in the second half, Mitch Aubo gets tackled and then when he goes to ground the ball comes out and is ruled a knock on (Aubbo looked like he was winded). The replay clearly shows Aubbo had the ball and then Luke Lewis pulls the ball out in a two man tackle. The play had stopped and could have been reviewed and overturned by the two buffoons, but because it was us they decided to play a game of two blind mice.....might have to change the name from NRL to IPL.

There is little value in a video referral system when we have people such as Luke Patten in the video box.

We have to stop giving away blatant pot plant penalties as well, sure we get burnt every week, from the ref's, but we also do some stupid things as well, FPN is a serial offender in that regard, and Guerra does a few things as well. All they do is get us penalised, and nothing more, they need to think more about their actions, be cause against the gun sides, they will cost us games.

                            ^^^ this
I think if we stop with the dumb penalties we may burn that tag of being an ill-disciplined team and start to see more of those 50-50 calls go our way. You are always going to get howlers, every team does, it's human error and nothing will change that. It all falls back on the players trying to improve how we are perceived in those tip sheets. If we shake that tag it will only benefit us

The way i see it is there are just to many officials controlling the game.2 on field refs,2 touchies and 2 in the v idiot box.Thats 6 pink shirts controlling a game, overriding each others calls, putting their own interpretations on the rules as we saw on Monday night. Its hurting the game, the fans are getting fed up with the constant stuff ups.I know i am.The training these guys get must be addressed its not up to scratch. It cant be there are just to many ridiculous decisions being made every week. The pocket referee experiment is a failure imo The game would be better off if we returned to one referee controlling on field,2 touch judges and 1 video ref who has a clear understanding of his job and what he can overrule the ref on.The refs must be made accountable for their performances and dropped to nsw cup or under 20s for incompetence like was displayed on Monday night.Just my opinion.
