How things change . I was just reading the top 50 players in 2012 on sportsfan .com.au. Not one Rooster is mentioned, I would love to see how we rate today.

I would put Jennings, Maloney, Pearce, JWH, Friend and SBW all in there. RTS and Cordner just miss out.

I would have all 8 of them in the top 50.

RTS and Cordner would be walk up starts.

They are the "big 8" for me. And all would get a start in the 2014 top 50 based on this years efforts.

Only SBW would be top 10. With Friend and JWH top 20, and Cords/Jennings not far behind.

Name 2 better wingers than RTS. Name 3 better backrowers apart from SBW better than Cordner.
          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

Boyd, B Morris, Ferguson. I would prefer RTS over all of them, but they are better WINGERS. RTS is a fullback playing as a winger.
Gallen, Bird, Watmough, Parker. Again, I would prefer Cordner over all of them, but they are better bak rowers.

Boyd is a fullback, he plays there all season. Ferguson is a centre, he plays there all season. Brett Morris has not been better than RTS in 2013.RTS has played at wing mostly in 2013.

Out of those four backrowers it is fair to say that only watmough has been better in 2013.

I understand where you are coming from, but remember that Boyd, Fergo and Morris all played wing during origin, and are as familiar with the wing position as they are with fullback, centre.
I think wing is a difficult position to determine whether they are playing well. Simmons (Panthers) has been playing better than anyone in 2013 (18 or 19 tries or something like that), but I didn't put him up there as the majority of his tries are him falling over the line, much like Nathan Merrit.
If you want more good 2013 wingers, Nofoaluma and Taufua have been standouts for their respective clubs, and even Vatuvei has had a quietly good year.

McManus has been the second best winger this season after Taufua.

Only Watmough has been better than SBW.

Rts would be top 100. Just misses out. Cordner will just make it.
