What a great display, it shows we have the class to win it this year. With SBW to be injected in this team, the options are numerous, and the SOO experience will benefit Cordner and Maloney to no end. Even Pearce showed that at club level he can produce what is needed to win it come October.

If anybody is going to bag any of the players tonight, I'm going to send a couple of Bankstown boys to fkn shut them up!

    What a win.

SBW out, Jennings/Maloney both got early breathers, JWH only 40 minutes and Friend barely played in the second half too, yet we still were able to keep them to 0 and not really look like conceding..

A weakened sharks team but 40-0 can't ask for better than that.

Only criticism I have is the two idiots in pink, for the second game in succession we have totally dominated the opposition while they have been off side and laying all over the tackled player yet we get dominated in the penalty count.

If our team stays fit and healthy and continue to buy into Robbo's philosophies then the fools in pink are the only ones who can stop us going all the way.....

              This.

The defense and structure is now set in stone. Look for the shackles to loosen now.

              And when SBW returns? OMG!

                  9-4 or there abouts.
I will be honest, I am starting to sway. we never seemed to get a penalty for slowing down the ruck or being inside the 10, yet the guppies got both.
ill say the standard of refereeing was fairly decent, but we must be better than 9 conceded penalties. the only thing the sharks supporters are complaining of is the LOD obstruction call, but he didn't do anything wrong.

So if this 9-4 count is correct We have won the last two matches by an aggregate of 76-0 Yet we have lost the penalties 19 - 7

yes it's horrendous, but there is one thing I don't get.

how can people say 'its ridiculous that a team dominating 30, 40, 50 points to nil is still losing the penalty count'?

what we do in attack is completely different from what we do in defence.

scoring more tries than the other team doesn't make them offside, or make them lie on the ruck for longer.

                        me

The penalty count pwas actually 8 - 5 but your point is still very valid. It really has now gone beyond being a joke.

The Roosters are the team best able to cope with injuries to key players of all the contenders. The fact that we have Morts and SBW means an injury to our half or 5/8 is prety well covered. Options all over the park. We are nowhere near our peak with improvement still in us. We look stronger than 2010.
