  • Boyd Cordner is a second rower

His 2 best games this season have come in the last two weeks and both on the left fringe.

I'm sold, he's wasted at lock.

How good was some of his footwork last night, RTS eat your heart out!

Oh no.... were not having the lock forward debate again are we ????

He is magic when he plays outside the middle third of the field

I declare this thread free of all discussion over the differences between lock & second row. Any posts in violation will be deleted.

This thread is purely to talk about how much more dangerous Cordner looks on the edges.

You're spot on, he looks much better out wide. The seems to work better with FPN at lock and Boyd in the second row!

Agreed mate. I think if FPN isn't retained and SBW leaves after this year then we'll have Remi Casty as our starting lock. But no matter what Cordner should be on the edge. His footwork made Watmough look like a fool multiple times last night. If Langi fulfils his enormous potential which I believe he will then we'll have two of the best edge back rowers in the comp.

One would say This is an abuse of moderatorship When Mini has his next wonderful game next week I would like to start a thread about it Without all the narks coming in with their negativity

                I agree.

Add to that $BW plays better roving like an old style lock.

And Maubs looked better on the right where he's played most of his footy. It's suits SKiD too methinks.

                The FlogPen .

                You know it makes sense.

                  Haha 100% spot on.

And I would like to start a thread where we only praise me and my ideas and receive no criticism. Then i'll start a newspaper doing the same. Then i'll take over the world like a fascist. It all starts with censorship!

Going at more than a try a game since he moved to the left edge.

                      Freak!

Having a group of backrowers who are adept at not just being pigeon holed as left, right and middle players is a massive bonus to us.
Sonny can play all three with ease
Boyd is just as at home in the middle as he is on the edge
Maubs plays both left and right
And Guerra has done well shifting to the middle from his preferred left edge role this year.
Don't know how many other teams have that luxury
