stats? as in the refs average the most mistakes per game when the ref our games? or refs blow the least amount of penalties against teams playing us than any other team? or how about this one, refs are 100% more likely to miss a player being tackled into touch when they ref our games?Originally posted by kurtsherlock6 View PostThe difference is we have the stats over a long period of time to back it up.

Anyway, if you can get your head out of the sand & look at the stats over the last 10 years or more reagrding penalty counts against us and come back & discuss. Maybe it isnt a conspiracy as such but these stats are damming to say the least.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

but it is just not possible for an entire organisation to sit down and go, 'we will use our powers to make sure one team, and one team alone will not win the premiership this year'.

I'm not saying penalty counts are solely based on home ground advantage, there's so many other factors at play but there's no doubt the Cowboys were given a lot of leniency in the ruck yesterday. There's a direct correlation between the number of posts made by 6 and the demonstration of the lack of knowledge. The more she posts the less she appears to know.Originally posted by Spirit of 66 View PostIf the NRL wants to entertain the home crowds we should get a bit of that benefit too. We've won a couple of penalty counts narrowly this year, but we NEVER get the lopsided counts that seem to regularly go to some other teams - not just this year, but at least over the past 7 years.
As for your argument that controlling the ruck results in more penalties, I could be wrong, but I thought we dominated Parramatta, St George and Canterbury when we thrashed them - but did we win the penalty counts?
Chook.

Outclassed my arse. You missd the perfect strategy of LOD getting right up Tamou, and Tamou losing the plot and his rythm. Our 2 startig props are missing, yet we played to a plan in difficult conditions and mnullified their forwards to a degree.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostPoor possession & a lopsided penalty count can be attributed to our poor go forward.
Their heavy possession came on the back of being able to put us under huge pressure through their kicking game and relentless attacking raids in our own end on the back of making good metres whilst we struggled to come out of our own end all night. A lopsided penalty count is also representative of a team who's on top going forward, our props struggled to find their fronts all night and we created very little second phase play.
It was an exceptional performance given how they were camped in our half for the majority of the game.Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

Its far easier to make sure a particular team does win it.Originally posted by kegs1 View Postwe are despised, sure. they are jealous, sure.

To her defence though she does use buzz words to make her sound like she knows what she's talking about.Originally posted by Chook View PostThere's a direct correlation between the number of posts made by 6 and the demonstration of the lack of knowledge. Hey 6, are we still lacking that 'middle third' player? Are we suffering with our recruitment of edge runners like SBW? Are you still lamenting the signing of Maloney as he is not the 'type' of 5/8 we need to compliment Pearce?

Do you think if she just "concentrates on doing the 1%" and "taking it each post at a time""that everyone will be on the same page" and "buy into what she is trying to achieve"??Originally posted by Hollus View PostTo her defence though she does use buzz words to make her sound like she knows what she's talking about.

Where we got absolutely murdered by the refs was the 10m rule. the cowboys simply weren't being policed for offside whenever we were on the attack. Once we got inside their 10 the cowboys defence were completely lawless. They were breaking early every tackle, and on at least 6 occasions were so far offside that our dummy half could not pass the ball as defenders were already blocking the passing routes to all runners.
This wouldn't have bothered me so much, if we weren't pinged for breaking early on what should have been the last play of the game, all because their hooker double pumped the tap movement.
Then let us count all the sloppy play the balls they let go, the 2nd efforts that we were penalised for while they were allowed to tackle us as many times as they felt like it, and you start to see a pretty clear picture.
We need to take a broom to the refereeing ranks to clear out all these ****ing Bill Harrigan wannabes from the league. He was a poisoned challice from the very start, and will continue to have a negative effect on our sport until his remainind disciples are removed.

As Bill Harrigan has mentioned on Triple M now on a couple of occasions, the Refs study I'll discipline teams and are always going to be hard on the referring on these team, it is plane to see because of our past history (not this year) we will continue to be the team getting harshly penalized. As Peter Sterling and Paul Kent has said to Bill Harrigan this is not the way refs should be referring a game and should ref games on what is before them at the time and not pre-judging teams. This is also clearly demonstrated with Jared getting sent off last game, once again his so called bad reputation that he has work on this year fixing, does not matter to these cheating Refs, absolute BLOODY DISGRACE!!! Just look at the high shots of round 10, a lot worse than Jared’s and they stay on the field.

Why are people so intimidated by words like middle third? Coaches use it so it's quite obviously not a buzz word it's a reality in the modern day game.Originally posted by Hollus View PostTo her defence though she does use buzz words to make her sound like she knows what she's talking about.
