Beating the Panthers by 24 last week doesn't look such a bad result now eh

id say the raiders loss doesnt look so bad now, considering they beat Storm in melbourne and only beat us cos we fell asleep in CANBERRA.

Melbourne were absolutely woeful, I think their heavy schedule is starting to catch up with them. Same thing happened to them last year. IIRC they won about 9 straight to start the season then went on to lose 5 straight.

Wouldn't read too much into it.

Giving up a 16 point lead is always bad.

Canberra in Canberra is always a hard game, however it was still a bad loss.

I believe they lost those games during Origin. They have lost their last two and were very lucky not to lose the two before that.

i agree, it was an immature loss that shouldnt have happened, so i take that game with a grain of salt as inexperience played a role, Not to mention i think the "keeping teams to nil" played with there heads and when raiders scored they acted like it was the end of the world.

ANOTHER incentive is the fact that souffs are now outright first.

not for long i dont think, i have watched them closely and i got to say (In boxing terms) there alot like Mike Tyson, Big, Powerful and fast, but the big factor on there side is fear and intimidation, the size of them is very intimidating but there weakness is the same as mikes, they NEED that fear edge, When a team stands up to them they curl into a ball and play very soft and basic, it isnt till they score a try the BULLY comes out of them and they start to run over teams.

To beat them you need to face up to them, dont show them that your intimidated by there big pack, once the bully is bullied thats when you see just what that teams has and as we saw in patches against Cowboys and Broncos souffs really arnt that amazing once there size isnt a factor, Melbourne bullied them into a loss, that is how you beat that team.

and just like mike tyson, he never won a fight when he was knocked down, when you knock down souffs, they wont be getting up, there mentally too weak.
