Aside from his shocker against the Broncos he's made 2 errors this year.

Hardly poor reading for an outside back.

      If you were to compare him to the rest of the outside backs in our team;

      Daniel Tupou - 5 errors
      Roger Tuivasa-Sheck - 9 errors
      Anthony Minichieloo - 7 errors
      Shaun Kenny-Dowall - 8 errors
      Michael Jennings - 5 errors

So in short, not concerned at the moment.

I did notice the Panthers had done their homework on him today and were constantly chopping him down at the legs. If he can learn how to stand in a tackle and offload he'll become real hard to handle.

I thought he looked slow and disinterested today, his runs at the defensive line were very laid back..
Not sure if he was carrying an injury?!

I never said that? I'm saying it hardly calls for him to be dropped for Oldfield. Short memories.

Oldfield hasn't shown anything to prove he's worth a first grade position thus far.

I dont think there is much between them to be honest,in saying that Tupou deserves to keep his spot at present.
He needs to use his size and strength alot more though,he looked very slow today..

He'll end up being a star, and sooner then a lot of people think.
Also, his preferred side is on the right, and that's where he'll probably play next year

Appears that we finally have a coach trusted by the fans and his players. Trent has ditched Mose, BJ Lealua (?) and put Arona and FPN where they belong in reserve grade. Anyone else see the pattern in that lot? Anyway...

I'm happy to go with his selections. He likes Twopoo on the wing in first grade, must be for the right of the team.

Agreed, I was disappointed in him especially when you look at his efforts vs Dragons and Parramatta. If he can find some consitency he will be very good, some games he looks like he isn't bothered though.
