  • Think positive about the 2009 season

Cheer up guys! Spoons are actually not bad!
A wooden one is better than a plastic one!

This season will forever be remembered. The year Fitzy and Fittler departed would be remembered really clearly- because of the association with the spoon.

(whereas if we had finished second last, the memory would not be as strong)

In addition, because of the spoon, we would be more fired up for next year and hopefully achieve a top one finish.

Why would anybody want the memory to be strong?

Why?? Because if this memory is not kept, we do not learn from the failure !

Fitzy will make us remember... he was grinding away right to the last minute of every game no matter where we were on the score board. A lesson for all the young blokes out there if they ever wanna be great football players!

The fact we got the spoon just goes to show his mental toughness... the guy can be 50 points down on the board with a bunch of imbeciles around him spoiling all of his hard efforts and still isn't discouraged.

          Lest we forget...
