Another unfortunately memorable moment was the manner in which I saw a lol@souffs supporter abuse an elderly Chooks supporter one occasion. He went that hard he had spittle flying from his lips.

there's a young guy who drinks regularly at the pub i work at, souths supporter. He is ok to talk to about the footy and ive got a tallie riding on this game tomoz night with him.
Only other souffs supporter i had a chat to at currumbin rsl a few years back, i parted with the words "goos luck for the season" to which he replied "I hope u crash and burn" hmmmmm WE love the hate? they are carrying way to much of it aroundComment

Josh, that is just awful. One of my ex bosses is a Dragons fan and even he was disgusted at the sight of some Souths fans attacking an elderly gentleman (a war veteran) at a game once for 'fun'. All because he was wearing a Roosters cap. I think his sons were members of the old Wall and I remember reading a post about how they came along and rescued their poor dad, giving the Souths fans the shock of their lives as they thought they could just pick on a solo elderly fan. It's all very well to get fired up and carry on but when you pick on fans, especially the elderly or children, that takes it too far. I hate because:
- Their fans go on about the 20 premierships they won when there was a handful of teams in the comp. We all know they haven’t won in the modern era.
- They put shit on us for stealing their juniors. If their club was so good, their Juniors would stay there.
- They go on about their junior development. Look at their club now. Inglis, Burgess ... great Junior development there!!!
- The Pride of the League garbage! They should have never been let back in!
- Russell Crowe and his hate for us. You are living a lie. You can’t sell your stake in the club because you know it’s worthless!!
- I dislike people with poor dental hygiene.
