After some of the golden point debacles last year, hope the guys are practicing field goals. I guess Maloney will be able to take them but need other options.

A lot of people will scoff at and/or ridicule your post. But I agree. I think teams with highly accomplished field goal exponents are at an advantage. SBW kicked them ALL the time for me on Rugby League 2 on PS2.. He'll be worth a shot.
Funnily enough though we lost the only thing Anasta was good for - a reliable field goal kicker. Not sure how many Maloney has kicked.Comment

The only person I can think of who has kicked one under pressure before is Minichiello against the sharks from memory.
I hope he can kick them while he is standing out on the wing.

Anasta missed one ten metres out right in front of the posts against the titans last year, them they nearly came back and beat us. Field goal kickers need to be cool under pressure....even mini got one once!Comment
