True Vasco. Coggy usually tells it how it is. I respect that. We will deffinately be a stronger and more competitive outfit next season but it needs to be accross the board and the expectation cannot just be lumped onto one player who many believe to be the saviour.

i dont believe maloney is the saviour either ralphy but he will make a massive improvement to our previous 5/8;-)

Sure will and thats exactly my point mil. Accross the board we are going to be better as a unit and that will be a huge change from last year. To break it down though, I believe the hopeful improvement in our our halves pairing will be the more decisive factor in the side than a handful of other positions.

My head tells me we'll run around 6th-7th and get bundled in the first week of the finals.

In 2012 we were rubbish, In 2011 we were rubbish, In 2010 we were mostly rubbish. The majority of players we have had in the last few years have been rubbish. As I've said we are 2 or 3 class players short of being a realistic contender.

Ray I respect your right to be negative and voice your opinion but geez I hate that R word you use often.

And that is precisely why I use that word because they are supposed to be elite athletes with elite displays but in reality Friend and Pearce are rubbish. Their play is rubbish, I can't think of a better adjective to use.

I agree with Friend, but certainly not with Pearce. He's no Thurston, but he's far better than plenty of other halves. Sandow, Soward, Walsh, Wallace? They are all terrible. No doubt that DCE, Cronk & Thurston are better - but that doesn't mean he is rubbish.
