One Countdown ends another begins

So last night the bell tolled for the cap thief Anasta.. 7 years and and about $3M extracted from our club for a field goal.. Probably not the best value in hindsight. He has gone and found another stupid club willing to provide a pay cheque... However now the countdown begins for our last remaining veteran, our last link to our 2002 Grand Final, however the way he plays you may be forgiven for thinking he was running around in our great premiership victory of 1945.. 12 months until the cripple is gone... let the countdown begin.

Unless he is forced to retire - against the will of people who shall remain older than him - he won't do it in 12 months.

I still think there's a chance that he'll see the light in the off season and put his hand up. If that doesn't happen, someone at the club needs to get in his ear and set him straight, because there is no way he can be picked in first grade next season, in any position

i agree, pewrhaps an offer of a joib with the club in another non playing position might be in order ie sponserswhip manager? same pay just no play!

I can see Mini at FB & captain next year.

The Roosters dont want to make the 8 next season, they are looking at 2014.
