Canberra are rubbish at the SFS and ANZ and teams like the Dogs would prefer them in the 8 over the Tigpies, smart loss IMO.

This has always been Perrett's problem. For an experienced player who doesn't offer that much in attack he still has errors in him.

What about Jamie Lyon, the most complete player in the NRL by far.
He's the one player that every coach plans against.

Either way, hell be playing finals footy while our glorious youngster with plenty of promises will be pissed under some table in the first week of finals. The guy served the club well for many years so have some respect for that. Some are sounding like they've been dumped by a girlfriend. Move on folks!

The whole back line was off tonight

Sammy has been better than any of our wingers this year , this place loves to lay the boot in but never gives credit

                  true!
Our whole backline was off for 90% of the year, thus the position we're in, but that's OK!

                        16 Shackelton
                        17 Rose

Is there anyone that I have missed that came through our junior system & is now playing for another NRL team?

I dont think Sammy would be to worried unless he gets injured, his season doesn't end in 2 weeks like some.

                            Wasn't Jake was it?

Earl did nothing wrong, a complete over reaction by the club, if that's why he was moved on, to the media 'hate' campaign.
Just because the cops charge you with a crime doesn't make you guilty...as the CCTV eventually proved.
Would've been nice if the cops had viewed the CCTV first!!!

Same thing happened with Bird in that nightclub...he didn't hit the woman at all...he was charged and went to trial...the CCTV showed he was completely innocent.

Tries were scored down Perrett's wing with monotonous regularity, he was often not at home.

Going forward we need a younger, taller winger ... one who is good under the high ball and will guard the sideline with his 'life'.

SANDOR EARL, the rookie winger released by the Roosters after he finished a night out locked in police cells with recently sacked hooker Jake Friend, halfback Mitchell Pearce and Manly's Kieran Foran, wants a second shot at the NRL to prove the kind of person he really is.

''We were probably out a bit too late,'' he said of the night he celebrated his first grade debut. ''A few of the boys [and I] went out to the Tank nightclub and it went too long.

Two members of the group became rowdy and pelted patrons at another table with ice. It ended in a scuffle and the subsequent allegation that a woman was hit in the face.

''I didn't throw any ice,'' he said. ''I had been drinking but I'd sobered up when it happened. I was definitely in control. The next day when we went to the lawyer's office I was the one who told the story [of events].''

''There was swearing and abuse and the guy came over from the other group, and it was [probably] fortunate that I was at the end of the table,'' he said. ''I got up and said there was six of us and to 'let it go'.

''We went outside and the bouncers came running out saying someone had hit a girl.''

The group was asked for their identification and they weren't allowed to leave the area. Earl said it was alleged he'd hit the woman with a haymaker. He also heard that both he and Friend were supposed to have thrown punches.

Friend, 19, was sacked by the Roosters during the week after being charged with using offensive language towards police and failing to pay a taxi fare. The club has said it would continue to offer Friend whatever support he may need.
