Linnett is far from small for a centre. If I had to guess he wouldn't be far off the same size as SKD. Ofcourse having JT and Bowen inside him makes him look better to a degree, look at how Tonga is going this year without them. But its Linnett putting himself in the right places and running the perfect lines which can help JT and Bowen look good by picking him out and Linnett bursting through the defensive line. Look at his 4 linebreaks alone against the Storm last week.

Plus it was only a couple weeks ago that the statistics showed Linnett as being the top centre in the comp for defence with 90% tackle efficiency another reason why we are going well this year. For once we are not leaking tries on the edges with him and Tate out there.

To think we let him go and kept the 'Lantern'.

Before this year i'd agree with you about Graham but theres no denying he has gone to another level and playing excellent footy. One of the top finishes this year often beating his opposition winger 1 on 1 with spectacular dives in the corner, safe under the high ball for the first time in his career and is getting alot of metres out of our own end with quick play the balls.

Don't think so he has already come out and said he don't want to play for another NRL side and against us. We will give him whatever he wants within reason as he deserves it, will help with the new cap increases.

The way Linnett is going his price on the open market is quickly rising. We would of spent no more then 250k on Linnett, much less then the 350-400k that Tonga was on so i'm fairly happy with our recruitment.

Waiting to see what will be done with the expansion imo. If it's true and there's going to be another QLD club there's no knowing how much they'd pay to have him as one of their foundation players.

I like Rona but he might find it difficult to cement a spot in firsts. I saw him several times playing centre inside Adam H enry who can also plays centre I figured we might lose one of them, to my mind I'd rather lose Rona.

Ben Jones did his Pec muscle in pre-season I believe or somthing serious along those lines, has only just got back playing for a couple weeks. Ethan Lowe has been playing Q-cup all year often starting although I have only seen him play one game but he was better then both Paterson and Riethmuller in that game, both of whom have played first grade this year.

We have a stack of young backrowers so I was amazed to see Lowe signed with our feeder club (earned a 2nd tier contract during pre-season though I think). Will be hard trying to crack first grade here but he wouldn't look out of place from that game I saw and the feedback he has gotten this year.
