Does a solid job most of the times he's been called upon, like Ikuvalu never going to be a regular first grader but plays a really important role in the squad filling in all over the place.

In a competition handicapped by salary cap I feel his role is a really crucial one.

To be fair... he played a decent role in getting us over the line. Had we lost as a result of his poor defence, it's likely his form woulda warranted more criticism.

Not saying he's the greatest player ever, but IMO his form last night was decent. There's higher profile players whose defence at centre is significantly worse.

It can win you comps having a bloke who can earn SFA, train all week thinking he's playing Cup and then do a job on Souffs in a high stakes game when our first pick centre's out due to a moronic e-bike accident.
